Public Transport / MVV 365-euro ticket

MVV / 365-Euro Ticket

The 365-euro ticket is an annual pass offered by the Munich Transport Company (MVG) for students and serves as a flexible alternative to the school bus.

It is valid 24/7, on all 365 days of the school year, including during leisure time, throughout the entire MVV network.

Who is eligible for a free MVV / 365- Euro Ticket?

Eligibility generally applies based on the following distances:

    • P1-P4: more than 2 km
    • From P5: more than 3 km (S6/S7: please read S6/S7 sections below)

The decisive factor is the shortest walking route to school (one way).

The calculation is usually done via Google Maps or the Bavarian Spatial Information System (RISBy).

FAMILIES WITHIN THE MUNICH CITY AREA (POSTAL CODES 80000–81999)

If the requirements are met, the costs are generally covered by the City of Munich or the Free State of Bavaria.

FAMILIES OUTSIDE THE CITY AREA

Here too, the 365-euro ticket can be a suitable solution.

      • Cost contribution: 20%
      • Calculation is based on municipal regulations
